So, what can you expect?
The photography is entirely Digital. Images are captured by two photographers using high resolution Digital cameras. Photography begins from the moment guests begin arriving at the church or marriage venue. We are in place to capture first the groom and then the bride's arrival. During the wedding ceremony itself there is usually a restriction on photography by the clergy or registrar, however, pictures are normally allowed during the signing of the register.

Afterwards the photographers will take a few pictures outside the church of the couple with friends and family. Then a more extensive photo-shoot in a scenic setting, such as the public gardens. These are usually the main wedding pictures, and it can take a while to arrange all the different combinations of guests, so we normally advise couples to allow up to an hour for this.

From there it's on to the reception and once again the cameras are clicking away throughout. The wedding cake, cutting the cake, the food, everyone seated for the meal, guests enjoying the celebrations, decorations, dancing... the photography continues right through.

Couples can usually expect to receive around two or three hundred pictures of the days events.

A complete set of master pictures, in full resolution, is burnt to a CD and available within a few days of the wedding. We hand over the master picture files. From then on it's up to you what you do with your pictures.

We offer printing services from our shop, Jasper's, currently up to size A3, on glossy photo paper. In fact we are able to print and frame all sizes from 6x4 right up to A3. Sample frames and prints may be viewed in Jasper's. While there is no restriction on where you display your photos, we do ask that a credit for photography is given to Capricorn Studios, for pictures that are submitted to newspapers and other publications.
