Capricorn Studios was founded as a video making venture 14 years ago. Over the years it has developed through 8mm, super-VHS and now digital productions on DVD.

Filming and Production services
Our studio is available to hire for video/DVD productions, for projects such as:

As we continually strive to maintain high standards of production quality, studio equipment and running costs have increased significantly, especially in a location such as St Helena.

Unfortunately this means smaller "home video" style projects are much less viable and we no longer provide services in many of these areas.

DVD Documentary Productions
Titles include "St Helena Island, A Timeless Discovery", "Ascension Island, The South Atlantic Adventure" and "A Voyage on The RMS St Helena". All these titles available to buy from our online store.

Wedding DVD Production - Service ceased
After 13 years producing wedding DVDs, this service has now been suspended. There are no immediate plans to restart these productions.

Photo DVD
We can take your digital photos and turn them into a photo DVD or a DVD slideshow. The disc can be played in normal DVD players and viewed as an interesting slideshow, complete with music and titles added. This service can be ordered at our shop, Jasper's.

Services we Do NOT provide...
We do not repair or fix any electical or electronic equipment.
We do not edit any video that was not filmed by us.
We cannot recover tapes that have been damaged by mildew or chewed in a VCR.
We cannot improve a poorly lit video that someone has filmed and increase the light.
