VHS to DVD Transfers

VHS to DVD transfers, enable you to preserve your most precious family moments in the more versatile DVD format.

Nearly everyone at one time or another has experienced the frustration of ejecting a tape from the VCR and hearing that awful crinkling sound as you realise the tape is still wrapped around the vcr heads, even though the cassette shell has ejected. Now imagine your wedding video, or special home videos being chewed up and lost forever.

Transferring to DVD means you can play your movies over and over without worrying about drop outs or stretched or chewed tapes. You can also play the discs back on computers with DVD drives. Another bonus is you save space on the shelf with a DVD.

The Service
Transfers can be done for tape durations up to 2 hours.
Your movie is first transferred to a digital format using a specialised machine.
Chapters are added, at 5 minute intervals. This allows you to use the NEXT button on the remote to skipp through while viewing.
The move is then burnt to a DVD -R disc, the most widely compatible format with DVD players.
The disc is printed with your title details (that you give us), running time and our transfer artwork. (see example above)
A matching sleeve for the DVD case is also created.
Finally, every disc is checked through in a separate player to ensure it plays right to the end.
