A vehicle parade in support of air access for St Helena was held on Saturday 20 June. The event was organised by the island's Chamber of Commerce and attracted 55 vehicles to make the journey from White Gate to the sea front. Vehicles were decorated with the simple letter 'A', representing support for Option A in the current consultation process, which is a call for the British Government to honour their promise to the island and build the airport now without further delay.

The parade was led by local building contractor, Nigel George, in his JCB.
